FEB - MARCH 2010 Hello to all the awesome website
followers! With work and Weather, there hasn't been alot of dirt
being moved through my hands here in Austin! THought that I would make
a page for the great fans that have been sending in pictures to share with
all you great folks and they just haven't made it to the front page. Here

Ralph sends in a picture
of a interesting stone age plane that I came across an a large black Granite
whale effigy knife 9 1/4" long x 3 1/4" wide and 2" thick at the top. It
is very sharp with an excavate triangular core. Image 161 excavate middle
has fin back from the head. The photos were taken at "The Plain of The
Imperial Mammoth" All the Best! -Ralph

Hello from Little Rock.
This past Saturday I was searching a washed out stream bed in Saline County,
Arkansas, and found this unusual "fire starter" stone. The drill
holes are so small that a local expert told me that he was almost certain
this was used as a fire starting rock with the natives using a pump drill. A little different artifact,
but a great find for me. Keep up the good postings!

i just got pics of that i have found over the past few years.the bird points
are from montgomery,polk,and uvalde county.the triangular points are all
from webb county the large blades came from one site in uvalde county all
surface finds except for some of the bird points and fossil teeth they
were from sifting the lake livingston area.i hope you like them, good job
on the site nice to see that im not the only one out there addicted to
