Thanks the Central Texas Paleontological Society again this year for allowing me to tag along on the NTC trip! I was one lucky woman and found some really good stuff this trip. Thanks for the write up in June 2004 “Fossil Footnotes” newsletter also! Its a keeper!
North Texas Cement (NTC) quarry near Midlothian, TX




This is 1/2 of the rock slab that I broke apart and I have BOTH sides of a almost complete FISH!!!!!!! Woo Woo! I couldn’t have cracked that rock any better! Can you see those scales and that gill!! Wow its a great find!


Here you see my Shark Vertebra in the matrix (by deangela at testsforge). Its a BEAUTY as Hal would say! And the “Hay, put that in the car” that I found.. Its actually a “Mososaur” tooth.. But, when I was showing it to people they all said , “hay, you should put that in the car” Tooth in the matrix is a hard thing to find I hear!
